Come one, come all! Come down to the Bax Res Headquarters and donate non-perishable foods to help stop hunger!
Boca Raton, FL - October 8, 2015
Dave and Kim Baxter have a friend named Mitchell who, for his 13th birthday, is making a commitment to help end hunger in his community. Mitchell is in the midst of his Bar Mitzvah community service project and is taking action! He’s decided to ditch the candy and dedicate his Halloween night to collecting non-perishable foods around town. The food will then be given to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida - a non-profit organization that accepts and distributes food to hungry families across Central Florida. Last year, they supplied almost 64 million pounds of groceries to those in need.
Since ending hunger takes more than the power of one young man on Halloween night, Dave and Kim are stepping in to help. They are opening the doors of the Baxter Restoration Headquarters from now until Friday October 30th to accept donations. Stop by the office between 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday to drop off cans and other non-perishables. BONUS! Dave and Kim are going to donate 50 cents for every item brought to the Bax Res office - up to $500! As an added bonus, our friends from Luxor CRM, Jeff Bretell and Lucas Szcurowski, are matching this donation.
We're off to a fantastic start, so come join us in the fight to end hunger in Central Florida!
