Occasionally, you have to call on your friends for help.
Boca Raton, FL - June 15, 2015
In this case, Wright Way Restoration, an emergency restoration company based out of Nokomis, Florida, did just that. They called on us when the Sarasota YMCA was damaged following an overnight electrical fire that started in their storage maintenance room. The Sarasota Fire Department responded to the call early on Wednesday morning, May 27th. The Baxter Restoration crew arrived bright and early the following morning, sleeves rolled up, and ready to work!
The crew began by extracting the water left behind by the sprinklers and firefighters. After drying up, the damage mainly consisted of soot and smoke covering the interior of the building and the gym equipment. The cycling room, gymnasium, and main workout area had to have their carpets pulled up, ceiling tiles taken down, drywall removed, insulation pulled out, and sound absorbing padding thrown away before EVERYTHING was replaced. Gym equipment such as stationary bikes, treadmills, weight machines, etc. all had to be sanitized and reset. With a lot of friends and a little elbow grease, anything is possible!
A huge thanks to our friends at Wright Way Restoration for calling on us to help restore this awesome organization so they can get back to what they do best!
